• The Spartans improve to 4-4 all-time in overtime games, including a 2-0 record against the Irish. MSU also beat Notre Dame in overtime in 2005, coming away with a 44-41 victory at Notre Dame Stadium.
• Michigan State has now defeated Notre Dame 10 of the last 14 meetings...10 of the last 12 games in the series have been decided by 10 points or less.
• MSU is now 5-4 in night games at Spartan Stadium, including a 2-2 record against Notre Dame.
• MSU head coach Mark Dantonio is now 3-1 against Notre Dame, including a 2-0 record at Spartan Stadium...Dantonio is now 10-1 in non-conference games in Spartan Stadium.

• Le'Veon Bell recorded his second 100-yard rushing game of the season, collecting 114 yards on 17 carries (6.7 avg.)...he also had two receptions for 18 yards...he rushed for his fourth TD of the season, a 16-yard score in the second quarter.
• Edwin Baker ran for a 56-yard touchdown in the third quarter...he finished with 90 yards on 14 carries (6.4)...Baker leads the team with 390 yards on the season (130.0 ypg.).
• Kirk Cousins recorded his ninth career 200-yard passing game, completing 23-of-33 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns...the 245 passing yards are the sixth most for a Spartan QB against Notre Dame.
• Keshawn Martin caught a career-high eight receptions for 96 yards...his previous career high was four at Wisconsin last year.
• B.J. Cunningham recorded his first career 100-yard receiving game, catching seven passes for 101 yards (14.4 avg.)...the seven catches also tied a career high, as he also caught seven passes at Notre Dame last year...he had a 24-yard TD catch to tie the game at 28 in the fourth quarter.
• Chris L. Rucker recorded a career-high 12 tackles, including one for loss (1 yard), a forced fumble and two pass break-ups...his previous career high was nine against Notre Dame in 2008.
• Marcus Hyde recorded a career-high 11 tackles and also recovered a fumble...his previous career high was nine against Central Michigan in 2009.
