
Spartans Compete At USA Swimming National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. - Four Michigan State swimmers (Jacob Jarzen, kevin Puskaric, Kerry Sodonis and Colby Ward) are competing this week (Aug. 3-7) at the USA Swimming National Championships in Irvine, Calif.
On Tuesday night, senior kevin Puskaric posted an impressive 13th-place finish in the men's 100 breast finals with a time of 1:02.97. In the prelims, Puskaric swam a 1:02.68.
On Wednesday, Jacob Jarzen finished 47th in the 100 back prelims, coming in at 57.79. In the 200 freestyle, Ward clocked in a 1:54.17 in the prelims to place 73rd.
Action continues on Thursday as Sodonis will swim in the 200 breast, and Jarzen in the 100 fly.
