East Lsnsing, Mich. - The Michigan State Men's Soccer staff will once again host the Elite Winter Prospect Academy on Saturday and Sunday, January 29th & 30th, 2011. The camp is open to current high school sophomores and older (including college students). It will be a great opportunity for prospects to train like the players at MSU as well as be evaluated by the MSU coaching staff and other college coaches.
The cost of this clinic is $185 per participant. In addition to a full day and a half of training, playing, in-depth evaluation, and a college recruiting talk, participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch. Registration will close at 72 field players and 12 goalkeepers.
Complete registration information can be found at the following link: http://www.spartansoccercamps.com/mens-elite-winter-prospect-academy.cfm
Participants need to bring adequate training apparel: a ball, shinguards & soccer socks, running shoes and/or indoor soccer shoes for strength and conditioning and a pair of firm ground cleats and/or turf cleats. Check-in and camp welcome will begin at the Smith Center Auditorium. Training will take place inside the Duffy Dougherty Football Center. There is a possibility of walking outside some in the cold, so participants should bring necessary clothing to be prepared, if necessary.
