Cross Country to Host Annual Spartan Invitational

Bush finished with a time of 21:22, placing fifth overall. She has finished in the top-five in the first three races of the season.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's cross country teams will host the Spartan Invitational on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Forest Akers East Golf Course. This year's event will feature middle school, high school and collegiate runners competing in a total of 10 races.

The first race of the day will begin at 1 p.m. with the men's collegiate race, followed by the women's collegiate race at 1:35 p.m. The high school and middle school races will follow thereafter.

This is the Spartans second meet of the season and first multi-school event.

In last seasons Spartan Invitational, the MSU women's team posted the day's top five finishers while the men's team had five runners finish in the top 10.
