EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host Iowa in a Big Ten dual meet on Saturday at 12 p.m. at McCaffree Pool at IM West. The Iowa men's team enters Saturday's meet 2-0 (1-0 Big Ten) while the Hawkeye women's team is 1-1 (0-1 Big Ten).
The women's team enters the meet 0-2 on the year after falling to Big Ten power Minnesota and then last week to Illinois. Senior diver Danielle Williams has won all four events she has competed in this year and, along with fellow divers' freshman Sarah Clay and Kayla Kalmbach, has qualified for NCAA Zones.
Another highlight for the women's team so far this season has been sophomore Becca Ebner. The Okemos native is perfect in the butterfly events she has competed in this year, winning both the 100 and 200 fly against Minnesota and Illinois.
Saturday's meet with the Hawkeyes will be the first of the season for the men's team.
