
Cross Country to Run at Notre Dame Invitational on Friday

The Michigan State men's and women's cross country teams will compete on Friday, Oct. 3 in the 53rd Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. The Spartan women's team will compete in Gold Division race at 2 p.m. while the men's squad will run in the Blue Division race at 5 p.m.
The eighth-ranked Spartan women's team is coming off a victory at the Colonial Inter-Regional hosted by William & Mary last weekend. Senior Lisa Senakiewich took first place and earned Big Ten Runner of the Week for her efforts.
The MSU men's team placed second in last week's Inter-Regional, led by Spencer Beatty who took fifth place overall.
Friday's Notre Dame Invitational will include 60 schools, 19 of which are ranked in the USTFCCCA men's and women's polls.
