"It is going to be a lot of fun," said Coleman. "I am really looking forward to getting out there and doing my best to represent myself, my team and the University."
Coleman was the Spartan's top scorer on all-four events at the Regional Championship, as the Green and White wrapped up its season with a fifth-place finish and a score of 193.575. In addition to her third-place finish in the all-around, Coleman added a sixth-place finish on the uneven bars, scoring a 9.800 to clinch her spot at the national meet and prolong her season as an individual.
"I'm disappointed my teammates won't be on the floor with me; they have been such a big part of my success this year," explained Coleman. "(Competing at the NCAA Championship) is something I have been looking forward too for a long time, and I am just focusing on the opportunity."

One of the Big Ten's Best...
Coleman garnered first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2006, the first-such honor of her career, following a season that saw her develop into the Spartans top all-around threat. The Cornwall, Ont., native turned in a sixth-place performance on balance beam (9.800) and an eighth-place effort on uneven bars (9.775) en route to a second-place all-around finish, with a score of 39.100, at the end of the year Conference Championships.
Thanks, in large part, to Coleman's efforts, the Green and White turned in a second-place result at the Big Ten Championships, notching a team score of 194.975. The finish matched the program's highest ever placement and marked MSU's first trip to the Big Ten podium since 1996. With a 3.487 GPA in kinesiology, Coleman was also selected to the Big Ten All-Academic squad during the 2006 campaign.

Coleman and the Podium...
Coleman led the Spartans in podium appearances, this season. The Michigan State junior posted four top-three finishes on vault, six on bars, three on beam and three on floor exercise, in individual event competition during the 2006 campaign.
The junior also posted a whooping ten top-three finishes in all-around action, including four first-place performances.

Coleman has consistently excelled, for head coach Kathie Klages and her Spartan teammates, in 2006 and on no event is that more apparent than the uneven bars. Coleman has posted eight of
