
Women's Tennis Heads to Northwestern

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team will continue its fall season at the Wildcat Invitational in Evanston, Ill., Oct. 6-8. Participating schools include Northwestern, Western Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois-Chicago, Wisconsin, DePaul, Iowa State, Louisville, Indiana State and Bowling Green. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.
The Spartans will face Big Ten opponents for the first time this season at the invitational. Michigan State went 4-7 in the Big Ten last spring. Coming into the weekend Stephanie Kebler, Pascale Schnitzer and Ana Milosavljevic are undefeated after a very successful Spartan Invitational, although captains Sarah Andrews and Christine Bader will look to get back on track after falling in the first round of the ITA All-American Tournament. Michigan State will also welcome freshman Christine Milliken in her first competition as a Spartan.
