EAST LANSING, Mich. - Sophomore Chayla Hill (Hudson, Ohio) competed as an individual at the 2005 NCAA Central Regional Championships at the Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Saturday, April 9.
Hill finished in 25th on the vault with a 9.65 and placed 28th on the floor with a 9.60. The 2005 season marks the second straight year that Hill has competed at the NCAA Regional Championships as participated on the vault, beam and floor as a freshman.
"It was really nice to have Chayla on the floor representing Michigan State at the NCAA Regionals," said MSU head coach Kathie Klages. "It is difficult to compete as an individual without the team there, but she did a good job."
