
Men's Soccer Closes Out Regular Season Sunday

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer team faces the Valparaiso Crusaders in its final regular season game, Sunday at 1 p.m. at Valparaiso, Ind. The Spartans are 6-5-5 on the season and the Crusaders are 6-8-2.
Last season when MSU and Valparaiso met, the Spartans handed Valparaiso a 7-1 loss at Old College Field. State also holds an 8-7-1 all time series advantage.
After this weekend's match, the Spartans will head to Evanston, Ill., for the Big Ten Tournament (Nov. 10-12). MSU captured the Big Ten Tournament title in 2004. State's first round match is yet to be determined.
