Head coach Joanne P. McCallie
"Wisconsin played a great game. I thought they played very well. I was very impressed by how they never quit and how they got loose balls and were playing very feisty. We were on again, off again. I thought Liz Shimek was our person who really came ready to play. She was focused and did what she needed to do. We need to work on that ready-to-play thing."
On Liz Shimek...
"Liz did what Liz does; it's a very attacking way that she does it. Then everyone else attacked, and took a vacation, attacked, then ate a pizza, attacked, then hung out, had hot chocolate, was social, very Barbie-dollish. There were a lot of Barbies out there tonight. It was almost an illusion really; it was a little ridiculous."
On the turnovers...
"I was very surprised by the turnovers. There were only 13 turnovers but were the worst 13 turnovers you have ever seen in your life. I mean that's what they were. They were given to the other team almost gift-wrapped. And we are well beyond Christmas, so I can't figure it out. Those were bad."
Kelli Roehrig
On the team's focus...
"We were focused, we weren't focused, we were focused, then we weren't focused. It's just discipline. We have to really key in on it and just demand it of yourself every game and we didn't demand it tonight."
"I don't think our focus had anything to do with the fact we were playing against an unranked team. In our game we just mind lapses and we just need to focus."
