MSU Volleyball Readies For First And Second Round Of NCAA Tournament

Michigan State volleyball begins official preparations to host the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, with open practice from 4:45-6:15 p.m. Dayton, Valparaiso and Nebraska will also practice Thursday in Jenison Field House. Coaches and players will be available for media interviews following practice.
Friday and Saturday's practices are closed to the public and media.
The first round matchups begin Friday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. with No. 9 Nebraska taking on Valparaiso in the first match. The Spartans, hosting the tournament for the first time since 1998, face Dayton at 8 p.m. Friday. The winners of the two matches square off Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. All matches take place in Jenison Field House on the Michigan State campus.
Tickets to the first and second rounds of the 2003 NCAA Volleyball Tournament are still available and may be purchased through the Michigan State Athletics Ticket Office in Jenison Field House or by phone at (517) 355-1610 or 1-800-GO-STATE.
All-session and single-session passes are available. Adult all-session passes cost $10, while youth, seniors and Michigan State students can purchase the all-session pass for $6. Single-session tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for youth, seniors and MSU students.
