Michigan State Swimming and Diving Coach Steps Down

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach Jim Lutz has stepped down from his position, effective immediately, Athletics Director Ron Mason announced on Friday. Current associate head coach Matt Gianiodis will serve as interim head men's and women's swimming and diving coach for the 2003-04 season.
The Spartans' intrasquad Green & White meet is on Oct. 17, and they open the Big Ten Conference season at Iowa on Oct. 24.
