Baseball's Home Opener vs. EMU Cancelled

The MSU baseball team's 2001 home opener vs. Eastern Michigan, scheduled for Wednesday (Mar. 28), has been cancelled. Instead, the two teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday at EMU beginning at 1 p.m.
The Spartans, 10-8, will still play their Big Ten Conference home opener Friday (Mar. 30) at Kobs Field vs. Purdue in the first game of a four game series. The final three games of the series will be played at Olds Park.
