Spartan Swimming And Diving Head To Miami Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will participate in the 18-team Miami Invitational in Oxford, Ohio, this weekend, beginning Friday, Nov. 30 and concluding Sunday, Dec. 2.

"This is the first opportunity we've had to swim when we're rested," said MSU head coach Jim Lutz. "We've been competitive all year, and we've challenged ourselves when we were tired. Now we're ready to go and I'm expecting some top times out of our swimmers at the invitational."

After the Miami Invitational, MSU has a month off before departing on its annual Christmas trip to Hawaii for the Rainbow Invitational on Jan. 2-3.
