East Lansing, Mich - The Michigan State men's soccer team will take on the two-time defending national champion Indiana Hoosiers this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Old College Field. The Spartans are playing their first game at home since beating Niagara 5-0 on September 3. Since then the Spartans are 2-2.
"Indiana is traditionally a strong team," said assistant coach Damon Rensing. "But unlike in years past, I don't think they are as strong, but they are still very dangerous."
"We definitely have to play our A-game and do all the little things well this weekend in order to win," added Rensing.
"Playing two very athletic teams last weekend in California (Loyola and Gonzaga) helped in preparing for Indiana because they are very athletic as well," said Rensing. "Having only one game this week has helped us in our preparation for them."
