East Lansing, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer team lost their second straight game on Sunday to Gonzaga by a score of 1-0 in overtime. The Spartans fall to 4-2 on the season.
MSU was able to fire just six shots at Gonzaga keeper Joe Smith while Gonzaga was able to muster 19. Spartan goalkeeper T.J. Lieckfelt (Sr., Sterling Heights) made ten saves. Gonzaga's Jason Kuska scored the game winning goal 7:26 into overtime.
Michigan State will try to get back on the winning track this Sunday, September 24 at 1 p.m. against Indiana. The game will be played at Old College Field.
