Lieckfelt Named Big Ten Player of the Week

East Lansing, Mich. - Men's soccer's T.J. Lieckfelt (Sr., Sterling Heights) was named Big Ten Player of the Week for October 30. Liekcfelt earned his third Big Ten shutout of the year versus Wisconsin on Sunday in the Spartans 2-0 victory. Earlier in the week, Lieckfelt made three saves in MSU's 3-1 win at Western Michigan. Lieckfelt has started every game for the Spartans this season. He is currently 12th in the nation in goals against average, posting a .750 average.
The Spartans (10-5-1) will close out their regular season today at Bowling Green. MSU has also assured of a second-place finish in the Big Ten with a conference record of 4-1-1.
