EAST LANSING, MICH. - The Michigan State baseball team opens fall play this weekend in an exhibition game against international competition. The Spartans will be playing a Canadian all-star team that is sponsored by the Toronto Blue Jay organization.
"We get one exception to playing international competition, so we saw this as a good opportunity for our guys to gain some experience," said Head Coach Ted Mahan.
The game is slated for October 7th at 2 p.m. and will be played at Kobs Field.
