DURHAM, NH- - Carolyn Hecht tallied 39.100 points in the all-around to lead Michigan State (193.775) over host New Hampshire (192.400), Texas Women's (190.750), and Ball State (188.950) in the Fox Run Invitational February 27.

Other winners for the Spartans (11-7) were Melissa Green and Polly Kiker, who tied for top honors on floor exercise with scores of 9.825. Elisabeth Forshier won the vault with a 9.875. Green took second on the balance beam (9.875), while Kiker earned runner-up honors in uneven parallel bar competition.

The MSU women's gymnastics team will try to keep up its winning ways as it travels to Corvallis, OR, to compete in the Shanico Inn-vitational March 5.
