EAST LANSING, Mich. - Junior John Munley (Kalamazoo, Mich.) finished 10th in the 200-yard freestyle preliminaries (1:50.81) in the 1999 World Cup Meet in Edmonton, Canada, Sunday, Nov.21.
Also in the preliminaries, Munley finished 13th in the 400-yard freestyle with a time of 3:57.57. He also placed 24th in the 100 individual medley, 30th in the 50 freestyle and 33rd in the 100 freestyle.
Assistant coach Chris-Carol Bremer finished 10th in the 200 individual medley preliminaries for Germany with a time of 2:05.31. He also competed in the 100 fly.
The Spartans next team meet is Dec. 2-4, at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
