Hartley Named Volleyball Big Ten Player of the Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Erin Hartley, a sophomore outside hitter from Midland, Mich., is the Big Ten Player of the Week. It marks the first player of the week award of her career.
The sophomore averaged 6.00 kills, 3.33 digs and 1.00 blocks per game while hitting .604 in wins over Michigan and Northwestern last week. Against Michigan she tallied a match-high 20 kills on a career-best .600 hitting percentage. She also hit her 500th career kill in that match. Versus Northwestern, Hartley again led all hitters with 16 kills and bettered her career percentage by hitting .607. She also added 11 digs in the Northwestern match for her fourth double-double of the season.
