House comes to Michigan State from Purdue University where he served as Deputy Athletics Director and led the John Purdue Club to record-breaking fundraising and donor engagement success. Named the national fundraiser of the year by the National Association of Athletic Development Directors in 2025, House played a pivotal role in advancing Purdue through strategic fundraising initiatives and donor-driven innovations. Beyond athletics, House served as the Chair of the Victories & Heroes Campaign Planning Committee by Purdue University President Mung Chiang, underscoring his ability to unite donors across the university. In leading Purdue's $4 billion campaign, he was one of just a few athletics administrators to lead a fundraising effort of that scale in higher education.

House graduated from North Carolina State with a bachelor's degree in sport management (2008) and earned a Masters in sport administration from Belmont (2010). His family includes his wife, Jen, and three daughters, Emerson, Leah and Harper.
