Education: Vanderveen graduated with a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2007 and received an M.A. in human resources and labor relations from Michigan State University in 2009.

Job Responsibilities: Vanderveen is responsible for handling all matters related to employees.

Past Experience: Prior to Michigan State Athletics, Vanderveen worked at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams on campus for five years prior to joining Athletics in 2014. She had prior positions at Anheuser-Busch and the State of Michigan Office of Great Workplace Development.
