Jacob Crane is in his third season as an assistant football equipment manager at Michigan State.
Prior to arriving in East Lansing, Crane worked as the Director of Football Equipment Operations at Washington for two seasons (2019-20).
Crane began his career working in equipment as a student assistant at Utah (2012-16), where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. Following graduation, he landed an internship with the Miami Dolphins for the 2016 season before being named the head equipment manager at Weber State for two years (2017-18).
Crane and his wife, Sara, have a daughter, Robin (4), and a son, Wren (2).
