Kenny Goodrich a Director of Athletic Performance for Michigan State Athletics. Goodrich rejoined the Michigan State Athletic Performance staff in July of 2026, working with the men's tennis, track and field and women's golf programs.
Before returning to Michigan State, Goodrich spent the last three years as the Athletic Director at Lansing Catholic High School (2023-2026). Previously Goodrich spent four years at MSU as the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning (Olympic sports) and the Director of Athletic Performance at Munn (2019-2023), ten years at Bowling Green State University (2009-2019), including two years as an Assistant and four years as the Associate Director before being named the Director of Strength and Conditioning in February of 2016.
During Goodrich’s time at BGSU he primarily oversaw the training of the Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Gymnastics programs. He also oversaw Baseball, Softball, Men’s Golf and Women’s Golf and assisting with Football during different time periods.
Prior to his time at BGSU, Goodrich was a graduate assistant strength coach at Michigan State University, his alma mater from 2007-09 after serving as a volunteer assistant from 2005-07. Goodrich, a native of Decatur, Mich., earned his Bachelor's degree from Michigan State in Kinesiology, and also obtained his Masters degree in Kinesiology with and emphasis in Sports Administration from MSU in 2009. He is certified under the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Goodrich and his wife, Amy, reside in Okemos, MI with their children, Cami, Wesley, and Kennedy.
