Flietstra, one of the top goalkeepers in Michigan State history, returns to the Spartan program as the team[apos]s volunteer assistant coach. The native of Hudsonville earned First Team All-Big Ten and First Team All-Great Lakes Region honors as a senior in 2011, boasting a GAA of 0.64 and a save percentage of .885. With her outstanding season, she ascended into the top spot in the MSU record books for career GAA (0.74). Her 11 shutouts in 2011 gave her 29 for her career - the most in Spartan history. Flietstra[apos]s 32-career wins rank second in school history.
