2009: Appeared in 15 games, making 10 starts ... Went 1-for-2 with three RBIs in a 14-5 win over Eastern Michigan (3/18) ... Had first collegiate hit vs. UNC Wilmington (2/27).
Prior to MSU: Named first-team all-conference and first-team all-region in two years at Kellogg Community College...Hit .523 with 40 RBIs in his second season with Kellogg...Three-year letterwinner at Gull Lake High School...Earned all-state, all-region, all-district and all-conference honors while playing for coach Bill Blakely...Also earned all-conference honors as a senior in football.
