Sage Kellerman Named Big Ten Specialist of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. - Michigan State senior gymnast Sage Kellerman earned Big Ten Specialist of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Kellerman shares this week's Specialist of the Week award with UCLA's Ciena Alipio. The award is Kellerman's first of the season and seventh of her career and marks MSU's first Big Ten weekly award of 2026.

The Croswell, Michigan native helped MSU to a 197.525-197.425 victory at then-No. 10 Michigan on Feb. 1 for the Spartans' highest team score of the season and first Big Ten win. She anchored the vault (49.425) and bars (49.275) lineups to season highs and scored a season-high 9.975 on vault and season-high-tying 9.925 on bars to win both event titles.

Kellerman is currently ranked No. 5 in the Big Ten and No. 15 in the NCAA on bars.

MSU travels to Penn State to take on the Nittany Lions on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. inside Rec Hall. The meet will stream on B1G+.
