Michigan State Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents for 2025-26 Announced

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference announced home and away opponents for the 2025-26 men's basketball season on Tuesday.

The league will play a 20-game conference schedule, seven home only and seven away only, and playing three opponents both home and away.

MSU will play both home and away against Indiana, Michigan and Rutgers.

Big Ten opponents to visit the Breslin Center include Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State, UCLA and USC.

The Spartans will pay visits to Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin.

Michigan State finished the 2024-25 season with a 30-7 overall record, including a 17-3 mark in the Big Ten Conference, as the team won the regular season title for the 11th time under Head Coach Tom Izzo and was selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 27th-straight season. The Spartans advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time and finished the year ranked No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25.
