Meet the Spartans: Caleb Fish

Get to know one of the new Spartan wrestlers.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State wrestling will feature a newcomer periodically throughout the preseason in order to "Meet the Spartans" leading up to the 2020-21 season.
This week freshman Caleb Fish (Eaton Rapids, Michigan / Eaton Rapids High School) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.
1. Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?Â
I chose to wrestle at Michigan State for the academics, academic help, and wrestling program and coaching staff.
2. What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
 I am excited for the new atmosphere of wrestling at a collegiate level.Â
3. When did you first start wrestling?Â
I started wrestling when I was the age of 6.
4. Favorite wrestling memory?Â
Winning states, and going to Super 32.
5. What's your major at Michigan State and why?Â
My major is finance and accounting preferred. I chose this major because I have always had an interest in business.Â
6. Who has taught you the most about wrestling growing up?Â
My dad.
7. What superhero power would you have if you could choose one?Â
Ability to fly.
8. Favorite meal?Â
Medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.
9. Favorite TV show?Â
I like action TV shows, I don't really have a favorite.
10. Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
Hunt and fish.
