Wrestling Announces Six for 2020 Signing Class

East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State wrestling head coach Roger Chandler announced on Wednesday that six student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to wrestle for the Spartans next fall.
Michigan natives Andrew Chambal (Davison, Mich./Davison HS), Skyler Crespo (Mendon, Mich./Mendon HS), Caleb Fish (Eaton Rapids, Mich./Eaton Rapids HS) and Eddie Homrock (Brighton, Mich./Brighton HS) will join Tristan Lujan (Selma, Calif./Selma HS) and Chase Saldate (Gilroy, Calif./Gilroy HS) at Michigan State in the Fall of 2020.
"We're very excited about the future of Spartan wrestling as this may be one of the best top-to-bottom incoming classes in recent time," Chandler said. "Their success both at the state and national levels is very good and there is no doubt each and every one of them will have a big impact in the future."

Attends Mendon High School in Mendon, Mich. … Three-time State Champion at 125, 135 and 140 pounds … Elected captain of the wrestling team for three years … All-League and All-District in 2017, 2018 and 2019 …Two-time District Champion and Regional Champion … Also played defensive back for the football team at Mendon.
Son of Antonio and Celeste Crespo … Mother, Celeste, played volleyball and basketball at Western New Mexico University, and she was also a cheerleader… Wants to be a wrestling coach one day … His favorite athlete is Johnny Manziel … His biggest wrestling influence is his coach Caleb Stephenson, who has been coaching him since he was little and the pair have created a strong bond over the love for the sport … He enjoys playing Fortnite and Spikeball.
