
Spartan Soccer Cancelled Tuesday

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Due to inclement weather and the risk of student-athlete injury, Michigan State men's soccer and Notre Dame cancelled their game that was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 24 in East Lansing. The battled between No. 7 MSU and No. 16 Notre Dame was set to begin at 7 p.m.
Heavy rainfall and dropping temperatures were a factor in the decision to cancel the game, which will not be made up. Due to heavy rain this October, this is the second cancelled game of the year for Michigan State.
The Spartans will return to the pitch on Sunday, Oct. 29 hosting No. 2 Indiana at 3 p.m. MSU willl celebrate senior day following match, honoring seniors Brad Centala, Jimmy Fiscus, Ken Krolicki, Michael Marcantognini, Ryan Scott and Phil Stair. Head coach Damon Rensing will be honored before the contest after earning his 100th career win against Penn State on Oct. 14.
