Complete 2015-16 Schedule
EAST LANSING, Mich. â€" Michigan State women's golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll has announced the team's 2015-16 schedule.
The Spartans will begin the season by hosting the 32nd annual Mary Fossum Invitational Sept. 12-13 at Forest Akers West in East Lansing. MSU has won its home tournament eight out of the past 12 years and finished second last season.
The following week, Michigan State will travel to the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee, to play in the Mason Rudolph Championship for the fourth straight season.
MSU will wrap up the fall season in North Carolina with two familiar October tournaments. The Spartans will play in the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill from Oct. 10-12 and then will head to the Landfall Tradition Oct. 23-25 in Wilmington.
In February, the team will head to Palos Verdes, California, to compete in the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge (Feb. 7-9), taking place at Palos Verdes Country Club.
Later in February, the Spartans will head back to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship for a second year in a row. The tournament will be played from Feb. 21-23 at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans. Michigan State will then take its annual spring break trip March 7-11 in Lecanto and Naples, Florida.
MSU will also return to the Briar's Creek Invitational for a second year in a row March 21-22. The fourth-year event will be played at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek in Johns Island, South Carolina.
The Spartans will make their first appearance at the Clemson Invitational on April 1-3. It will be held at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, which was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, in Sunset, South Carolina.
MSU will finish the regular season at the Lady Buckeye Invitational April 16-17 at the Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
The Big Ten Championships (April 22-24) will return to The Fort Golf Course in Indianapolis for a second straight year.
The NCAA Regionals will be held in various locations across the country on May 5-7 and the NCAA Championships are set for May 20-25 at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon.
