EAST LANSING, Mich. -

• Michigan State's senior class of Branden Dawson, Travis Trice and Keenan Wetzel were honored in a post-game ceremony ... MSU's seniors improved to 105-36 over the last three-plus seasons ... The Spartan seniors also improved to 57-10 with Wednesday's win.

• Wednesday's win was Michigan State's 20th of the season, marking the Spartans' 15th 20-win season in the last 18 years, all under head coach Tom Izzo.

• MSU is now 81-34 (.704) in March since the 1998-99 season, as well as 35-14 (.714) over the last six-plus years ... For his career, MSU head coach Tom Izzo is now 88-41 (.682) in March.

• The Spartans won their seventh-straight meeting with Purdue, improving to winning 23 of the last 33 match-ups in the series with Purdue, cutting the Boilermakers' all-time series lead to 65-52 ... MSU is 23-13 against Purdue under Coach Izzo.

• MSU improved to 9-8 all-time on March 4, including 6-4 at home.

• Senior guard Travis Trice tied his career-high with 27 points, matching the 27 at Nebraska on Jan. 24, 2015 ... It was Trice's 21st game this season and 40th of his career in double-figures and his seventh 20+ outing this season and eighth of his career ... Wednesday was the 10th game that Trice led MSU in scoring and 12th of his career.

• With three three-pointers Wednesday, Trice has hit multiple treys in each of the last three games and Wednesday was his 11th game this season with three or more triples ... Trice's six assists was his 18th game this season with five or more helpers.

• With six three-point attempts Wednesday, Trice now has 446 career trey attempts, tying Kirk Manns for sixth on MSU's career three-point attempts list.

• Senior forward Branden Dawson snared two rebounds in his short amount of time in action, and now has 835 career rebounds, moving up to tie Andre Hutson for eighth-place on MSU's career rebounding list.

• Junior guard Denzel Valentine tallied 17 points, which was his 23rd double-figure scoring game this season and 44th of his career.

• With four three-pointers, Valentine has netted four of more three-pointers in six of the last nine games ... Valentine is .451 (32-71) behind the arc over the last nine contests.

• Junior forward Matt Costello was the third Spartan in double-figures with 13 points, marking his 10th double-digit outing of the season ... Costello's seven rebounds was his 19th game with five or more boards ... Costello added four blocks, which tied his season-high and was his third game in a row with multiple blocks and the 11th game this season.

• Junior forward Colby Wollenman tied a career-high for the fourth time with four points and matched his Big Ten career-high for rebounds with four boards.

• Michigan State's seven blocks Wednesday tied its second-highest outing in Big Ten play for the fourth time, behind eight rejections done twice, at Maryland (Jan. 17) and vs. Ohio State (Feb. 14), and matching seven swats in three games, at Rutgers (Jan. 29), vs. Michigan (Feb. 1) and at Northwestern (Feb. 10).

• MSU's 19 fast-break points was its second-highest during Big Ten action behind 23 vs. Indiana (Jan. 5).
