Spartans in Seventh at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. â€" The Michigan State women's golf team shot a 18-over-par 306 on Saturday in the second round of the Landfall Tradition and enters the final round of the 18-team tournament tied for seventh place at 21-over 597 (291-306).
Sophomore Sarah Burnham led the Spartans with a 3-over 74 and is tied for 11th place at 1-over 145 (71-74).
A day after carding a career-low 70, Gabby Yurik shot a 79 and is tied for 29th with a 149.
Alison Knowles (76-77—153) and Katie Sharp (81-77—158) are each tied for 47th while Carolyn Markley is tied for 41st (74-78—152).
The third and final round of the Landfall Tradition is set for Sunday; the shotgun start will begin at 8:45 a.m. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
