With tonight's victory, MSU has now recorded 18-straight home wins against Iowa and eight straight overall.
The Spartan seniors - Keith Appling, Dan Chapman and Adreian Payne ended their MSU careers with a 57-9 home record.
MSU assisted on 20-of-28 field goals, shooting 58.3 percent, marking the 10th game this season that the has shot above 50 percent.
With five Spartans scoring in double digits, it marks just the third game (McNeese State, 11/8/13, and Penn State, 2/7/2014) of the season in which MSU has had five or more players in double figures.
Michigan State improves to 8-2 this season when trailing at the half.
The Spartans average 17.2 assists/game to lead the Big Ten.
Shooting 10-for-17, the Spartans posted a season-high 58.8 percent from behind the arc.
Tonight's game marked the 12th game this season in which MSU has made 10 or more three-point field goals.
Branden Dawson tied his career-high with five steals. It is the most he's recorded all season and in the Big Ten. He also tied his season-high with three blocks.
Dawson made his first appearance in the starting lineup since Jan. 21 against Indiana. MSU is 14-1 with Dawson in the starting lineup, 18-2 overall.
Travis Trice scored a season-high 17 points, the most he's ever scored in conference play. MSU is 9-1 when Trice scores in double-figures.
Denzel Valentine recorded a career-high nine assists, leading the team in assists for the 13th game.
