Fiebernitz Named to NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region Second Team

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State junior defender Mary Kathryn Fiebernitz has been named to the 2014 NSCAA Continental Tire Women's All-Great Lakes Region second team. The Linden, Michigan, native was also named to the All-Big Ten second team by the conference office on Nov. 4.
Fiebernitz ranked third on the team in points in 2014 with 10 (4g, 2a) and started all 19 games. All four of her goals came in wins for the Green and White. Three of her four goals came via penalty kick; she is 6-for-6 on penalty kicks since 2013.
The defender will return to East Lansing next year as a part of a senior class that features nine returning lettermen.
The NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region teams are voted on by the coaches of the Great Lakes Region.
