
Women's Golf Adds Four to 2015-16 Roster

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll announced Wednesday that four student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent and will join the Spartan women's golf program for the 2015-16 season: Alexis Biedrzycki (New Lenox, Illinois/Lincoln Way West High School), Carolyn Markley (Maineville, Ohio/St. Ursula Academy), Logan Otter (St. Peters, Missouri/John Burroughs High School) and Sybil Robinson (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome High School).
Below is a look at each one of the student-athletes:

Alexis Biedrzycki - New Lenox, Illinois - Lincoln Way West High School
Two-time Illinois High School Association Class AA "All State" selection (2012 and 2014) . . . Three-time Southwest Suburban "All Conference" selection (2011, 2012, 2014) . . . Three-time Illinois High School Association Class AA "All Regional" and "All Sectional" selection (2011, 2012, 2014) . . . Played in the 2014 USGA Girls Junior Championship at Forest Highlands Golf Club in Flagstaff, Arizona . . . Qualified for the 2013 Callaway World Junior Championship at Torrey Pines . . . Took first at the 2013 Illinois Junior Golf Association DuPage County Junior (73-75--148) . . . Placed third at the 2013 AJGA Music City Junior (74-77-76--227) . . . Took third place at the 2012 AJGA Preseason Junior at Prairie Landing (76) in a rain-shortened event . . . Placed sixth at the 2012 AJGA Midwest Junior Players Championship (74-76-77--227) . . . Tied for third at the 2012 Illinois Junior Golf Association Chick Evans Junior Amateur (72-75--147) . . . Qualified for the 2012 USGA Women's Amateur Public Links Championship at Neshanic Valley Golf Course, as a 15-year old . . . Qualified for the 2011 USGA Women's Amateur Public Links Championship at Bandon Dunes, at the age of 14.

Carolyn Markley - Maineville, Ohio - St. Ursula Academy
Two-time Ohio High School Southwest District Player of the Year in Golf (2013, 2014) . . . Named the 2014 Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Women's Sports Association High School Sportswoman of the Year in Golf . . . Finished runner-up at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division 1 State Tournament as a junior in 2014 (75-71--146) . . . Placed second at the AJGA Tournament in Boyne Highlands in 2014 (73-71-74--218) . . . Recorded top-five finishes at the AJGA Memorial Championship at Longaberger Country Club (77-79-71--227 ) and the AJGA Junior Championship at Forest Lake Country Club (76-76-78--230) in 2014 . . . Tied for fourth place at the 2013 OHSAA State Championships as a sophomore . . . Named the Girls Greater Catholic League Player of the Year in 2013 . . . Took third place at the AJGA Tournament at Crooked Creek Country Club 2013 (75-74-69--218 . . . Finished third at the AJGA Tournament at Boyne Highlands 2012 (74-73-74--221) . . . Logan Otter - St. Peters, Missouri - John Burroughs High School
Named Golfer of the Year by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch . . . Placed in the top 10 in the Missouri State High School Golf Championship all four years (ninth as a freshman in 2011, sixth as a sophomore in 2012, third as a junior in 2013, runner-up as a senior in 2014) . . . Her second-place finish as a senior (75-73--148) at the state championships help John Burroughs to a runner-up placing in the team standings . . . She helped lead John Burroughs to the state title as a junior in 2013 . . . Set all current records at John Burroughs High School . . . Four-time all-state honoree . . . Two-time Metro League Champion . . . Qualified for USGA Girls Junior Golf Championship in 2014 . . . Was the 2014 Missouri Women's Junior Champion and St. Louis Women's District Junior Champion . . . Qualified for Big "I" National Championship 3 years in a row . . . Took fourth overall and was the low junior in the Missouri Women's Amateur Championship in 2014.

Sybil Robinson - Dublin, Ohio - Dublin Jerome High School
Led Dublin Jerome High School to four consecutive Division I state championships (2011-2014) . . . Earned first-team All-Ohio honors in 2014 at the OHSAA State Tournament with a score of 149 (75-74) . . . Earned second-team All-Ohio honors in 2013 . . .Four-time first-team All-Central and All-OCC selection (2011-14) . . . Three-time All-District honoree (2012-14) . . . Led Dublin Jerome to a four-year record of 760-45 with the team winning 54 of 80 (18-hole) tournaments; team also finished runner-up in another 19 tournaments in her four years . . . Shot five sub-70 rounds her junior and her senior year at Jerome . . . During the summer of 2014, she finished tied for 20th in the Michigan Open, which was tied for the fifth-lowest score among amateurs . . . Took runner-up at the AGJA Memorial Junior (72-76-75) . . . Finished 10th at the AJGA at Sugar Valley . . . Won the Nationwide Junior Golf Classic at Ohio State University Golf Course (69) . . . Finished sixth at the PGA Junior Series at Purdue (76-76-79) . . . Won GolfWeek Junior Golf Tour Midwest Region Fall Points Series . . . Finished second at the Plantation Junior Golf Tour - Dublin Classic . . . Won the Callaway Junior World Qualifier for State of Ohio . . . Won CDGA Match Play Championship . . .
