No. 22 Spartans in 10th Place at Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The No. 22 Michigan State women's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship after shooting a 300 in Saturday's second round. The elite 15-team tournament features eight teams ranked in the Golfweek preseason Top 20.
Overall, the Spartans are at 20-over 596 (296-300).
Senior Allyssa Ferrell led the Spartans for the second straight day with a 1-under 71 and is tied for fourth overall at 2-under 142 (71-71).
Senior Liz Nagel is tied for 26th place at 147 (73-74), while Christine Meier is tied for 51st place at 153 (77-76).
Kelly Grassel and Lindsey McPherson each shot a 79 on Saturday. Grassel is at 154 (75-79) through two rounds, while McPherson is at 157 (78-79).
The third and final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship is set for Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET; live scoring will be available on birdiefire.com.
