Michigan State All-Access Daily Edition - Aug. 30
EAST LANSING, Mich. - The "Daily Edition" of "Michigan State All-Access" debuts on msuspartans.com on Monday, Aug. 30 at 8 a.m. EDT. The "Daily Edition" is dedicated to in-depth coverage of Michigan State's 25 varsity sports. Former Spartan women's basketball student-athlete Mandy Piechowski and WDIV-TV personality Heather Zara will serve as the primary program hosts.
Monday's "Daily Edition" includes features on former MSU linebacker Seth Mitchell, who has made a successful transition from the playing field to the boxing ring; All-America linebacker Greg Jones returns to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, to share some personal memories; and it introduces the weekly segment, "Monday Morning Quarterback."
The premier episode also includes highlights from preseason football camp and a recap of the volleyball team's season-opening tournament, the MSU Showcase.
The first week of programming also features season previews for men's and women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball and cross country. In addition, "Michigan State All-Access" followed men's basketball coach Tom Izzo to Michigan International Speedway for his appearance as the pace car driver in the CARFAX 400. Two former Spartans - quarterback Bill Burke and running back T.J. Duckett - anchor Saturday's pregame football coverage as they break down MSU's season opener against Western Michigan.
MSU Associate Athletics Director for Communications John Lewandowski serves as the executive producer of the "Daily Edition" of "Michigan State All-Access" while New Media Director Matt Larson is the coordinating producer. Video producers for the "Daily Edition" include David Diffenderffer, Dave Ellis, Bob Armstrong and Jacob Huber.
