
Natalie Brehm Wins GAM Women's Championship

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's golfer Natalie Brehm claimed the 19th annual Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) Women's Championship Tuesday at Forest Akers West with a two-round score of 146 (70-76). Brehm edged out Alainna Stefan, who finished second with a 147 (73-74).
Two incoming Spartan freshmen also placed in the top 10, as Christine Meier tied for third place (148) and Allyssa Ferrell tied for ninth (151).
Brehm has had an impressive summer, as she also won the Michigan Women's Amateur last month at the St. Clair Country Club. She will be a senior this upcoming season on the Spartan women's golf team, which begins its season Sept. 13-15 at the NCAA Preview in College Station, Texas.
