EAST LANSING, Mich. - Four Michigan State women's golfers - Natalie Brehm, Aimee Neff, Caroline Powers and Lindsey Solberg - have earned National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-Scholar honors, tying for the most in program history.
The criteria for selection to the NGCA All-America Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
This marks the second consecutive year Neff and Solberg have made the NGCA All-America Scholar Team.
The only other time four Spartans made the NGCA All-America Scholar Team was in 1997 (Julie Campbell, Amy Loviscek, Ellen Bishop and Meggan Schumaker).
Under head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll, players have earned NGCA All-America Scholar honors 25 times.
