• The Spartan bench combined to outscore the Gopher reserves, 27-3. Durrell Summers led MSU's non-starters with 13 points and had a game-high eight rebounds.
• The Spartans have won seven straight against the Gophers, which is their longest streak of all-time against Minnesota.
• For just the third time in 17 games this season, the Spartans did not outrebound their opponent as the two teams each collected 37 boards. MSU tied North Carolina on the glass and was outrebounded by one in the loss at Texas.
