EAST LANSING, Mich. - Former Michigan State Spartan guard Shannon Brown has found an NBA home with the Los Angeles Lakers. Thanks in part to his play during the playoffs, the Lakers have advanced through the Western Conference to the NBA Finals. Brown is averaging 14.4 minutes and 5.7 points in 18 playoff contests, shooting .444 from the field and .480 from 3-point range. In Los Angeles' game-five win over Denver in the Western Conference Finals, Brown scored six second-half points, including a thunderous dunk over Chris Andersen. He also played good defense, helping limit Chauncey Billups to just three second-half points.
