Michigan State Golf to Host 2008 Spartan Golf Classic

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's golf programs will co-host the annual Spartan Golf Classic on Sunday, August 24 at the Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing.
The tournament will have a five player scramble setup with each registered foursome paired with a current or former Michigan State golfer. Registration is scheduled for 10 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 11 a.m.
Cost is $200 per person, which includes lunch, dinner, greens fees, golf cart, tee prize and a $100 tax-deductible gift to the MSU men's and women's golf teams.
