EAST LANSING, Mich. - Spartan Sports Podcast, one of the many new features on msuspartans.com, makes its debut this week featuring exclusive interviews with junior quarterback Brian Hoyer, senior guard Drew Neitzel, former All-American Jason Richardson and Big Ten Network football analyst Gerry DiNardo. The new podcast channel will feature weekly interviews with Spartan coaches and student-athletes, coaches' weekly radio shows, and radio highlights from Spartan football, men's and women's basketball and hockey games.
A podcast is a multimedia file that can be downloaded to your computer or media device. To access the Spartan Sports Podcast, iTunes must be installed on your computer. Once iTunes is installed, search for "Spartan Sports Podcast" in the iTunes store to download exclusive audio features and interviews on Michigan State Athletics. Updated interviews can be automatically downloaded to iTunes by subscribing to Spartan Sports Podcast, free of charge. Selected interviews can also be directly downloaded to your computer if a link is provided and can be listened to through the computer's default media player (e.g., Windows Media Player, Real Player). A podcasting page on msuspartans.com featuring direct downloads and a link to the Spartan Sports Podcast page on iTunes will be available soon.
In addition to the Spartan Sports Podcast, msuspartans.com is providing more video content than ever before through MSU All-Access. Look for free video season previews of fall sports as well as updated football coverage. Loose Pucks, a hockey blog, and Spartan Fast Break, a men's basketball blog, currently launched this week, and blogs on football and Olympic sports will be coming soon.
