Men's Golf Does Well In Exhibition

MESA, Ariz. - The Michigan State men's golf team traveled to Mesa, Ariz., for an exhibition match against Scottsdale Community College at the Longbow Golf Club Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans notched the win and were led by junior Ryan Brehm, who shot a team-best 74, despite battling 35 mph winds.
"Brehm played very well with the wind conditions and the firm course," said head coach Mark Hankins. "It was a good start to our spring. We put a lot of work into the past few days and we improved throughout the weekend. I congratulate the guys on a gritty performance as we look forward to our next tournament."
The team returns to action on March 10-11 for the Spring Break Tournament at the Tournament Players Club in Scottsdale.
