Cross Country To Compete At Eastern Michigan Classic

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Eastern Michigan Classic, in Dexter Mich., on Friday, Oct. 20. The meet will provide the Spartans an opportunity to set their final rosters for the Big Ten Championships on Oct. 29.
"We will not run those individuals that competed at the Pre-NCAA meet (Oct. 14), but there are a number of individuals running on Friday that we anticipate will break up the top nine positions on both sides," MSU associate head coach Rita Arndt-Molis stated. "This meet will give us a final look at our teams and help us decide who will compete at the conference meet."
The unscored EMU Classic will be held at Hudson Mills Metropark, and is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
