
Ryan Brehm Finishes 79th At The Buick Open

GRAND BLANC, Mich. - Michigan State sophomore Ryan Brehm (Mt. Pleasant, Mich.) shot a final-round 77 on Sunday, July 31 at the 2005 Buick Open at the 7,127-yard Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc, Mich.
Brehm, the first amateur to make the cut at the Buick Open since 1966, finished the tournament with a 294 (71-69-77-77) and in 79th place. His final round consisted of one birdie on hole 3 and six bogeys.
Brehm will hit the links again at the 2005 U.S. Amateur Championships, which will be held Aug. 22-28 at the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa.
